Job summary

Step Up Rehab is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for our Port Charlotte SNF. You will provide skilled PTA services within a dedicated therapy gym, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to help residents regain function and independence.

This role supports flexible scheduling and offers a pathway to impactful patient care. Ideal candidates are graduates of an accredited PTA program with an active Florida PTA license (or license-eligible) and SNF or post-acute experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Active Florida PTA license (or license-eligible).
• SNF or post-acute experience preferred.
• Net Health documentation knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled PTA-related therapy services to residents in a Skilled Nursing Facility while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to improve safety, function, and quality of life.
