Job summary

Hireology is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehab team on a PRN basis in Texas. You will administer prescribed PT treatments and provide skilled services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to help residents improve mobility and quality of life.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, communicating with the PT and interdisciplinary team, and supporting patients and families.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Texas PTA license.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medically prescribed PT treatments to relieve pain and improve function.
• Provide skilled PT services under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Respond to service requests by relaying information to the PT.
• Implement and modify care plans under PT supervision.
• Measure and record motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
• Document thoroughly and timely per company policies and regulations.
• Attend required meetings designated by the Director of Rehab.
