Job summary

Step Up Rehab is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for our Port Charlotte SNF. Work within Solaris HealthCare Charlotte Harbor, delivering skilled PTA services and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to improve safety and quality of life for residents.

Ideal candidates hold a Florida PTA license (or are license-eligible) and have SNF or post-acute experience. The role offers flexibility, supportive leadership, and a focus on compassionate care in a modern rehab setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Active Florida PTA license (or license-eligible).
• SNF or post-acute experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled PTA-related therapy services to residents in a Skilled Nursing Facility while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to improve safety, function, and quality of life.
• Assist residents in regaining function and independence through skilled, compassionate care in the therapy gym.

Education
