Job summary

Creative Solutions In HealthCare is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house team on a PRN basis in Texas. You will support residents’ mobility, strength, and quality of life under PT supervision, delivering person-centered care and documenting thoroughly.

Responsibilities include administering prescribed therapies, collaborating with the PT and interdisciplinary team, and maintaining compliant records.

Qualifications

Active and valid Texas Physical Therapy Assistant license.
In good standing with regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
SNF or long‑term care experience preferred.
Current knowledge of physical therapy treatment practices.
Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.
Ability to manage patients with varying personalities and needs.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain, improve or restore function, and promote healing.
Provide skilled physical therapy services and interventions under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
Respond to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to the Physical Therapist.
Implement and modify patients’ plans of care under PT supervision.
Measure and record patients’ motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
Monitor patient response to treatment and modify approaches with the interdisciplinary team.
