Job summary

Stern Therapy Consultants is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant for Autumn Lake at Ocean View in Ocean View, NJ. You will implement prescribed PT plans, guide mobility exercises, and assist with transfers and walking using appropriate equipment.

The role offers PRN coverage around facility needs, collaboration with therapy leadership, and ongoing support from clinicians. NJ licensure is required; new grads welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey PTA license required.
• Ability to provide safe treatment within an established plan of care.
• Clear communication and reliable documentation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out interventions prescribed in residents' physical therapy plans.
• Guide exercises building strength, balance, and endurance for daily activities.
• Practice walking, transfers, and bed mobility with appropriate assistance and equipment.
• Reinforce movement techniques while monitoring tolerance and precautions.
• Communicate changes in symptoms and performance to the supervising PT.
• Document treatment and coordinate with nursing and rehab staff on mobility recommendations.
