Job summary

LTC Therapy Services at Lowell in Lowell, MA is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join its rehabilitation team and support residents with strength, mobility, balance, and functional goals.

You will administer treatments under a licensed Physical Therapist, help with gait and transfers, and document progress and adjustments to the supervising PT. A Massachusetts PTA license and strong teamwork skills are required.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts PTA license is required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Rehabilitation or skilled nursing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Assist residents with gait, balance, strength, transfers, and mobility activities
• Carry out individualized physical therapy treatment plans
• Communicate resident progress and changes to the supervising PT
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation
