Job summary

Empath Health Home Health in Florida is seeking a compassionate PRN Physical Therapy Assistant to join our home health team delivering individualized care to patients in Immokalee and Ave Maria. You will provide PT services under supervision of a PT and help educate patients and families.

Flexible scheduling with 5-10+ visits per week, with potential to grow to full-time in a growing market. The role emphasizes collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, strong assessment and patient education

Qualifications

• Active Florida PTA license required.
• Minimum of 1 year as a licensed PTA in a clinical setting.
• Home health care experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to home health patients under supervision of a PT.
• Assist the PT in evaluating equipment needs to improve function.
• Educate patients and families on self-care and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.
