Job summary

HealthPro Heritage is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join our senior living community in Independence, MO. You will support physical therapy plans with direct patient care, exercises, and education for patients and families.

This role offers a flexible schedule and a collaborative team environment. Ideal candidates hold an Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting with an active state license or eligibility, and experience with EHR systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed by Physical Therapists.
• Monitor progress, educate patients and families on treatment protocols and self‑care.
• Document treatments and outcomes in compliance with policies and standards.
• Collaborate with therapists and staff to ensure coordinated care.
