Job summary

The Cascades Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to work PRN at Cascade Gardens. The PTA will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and document treatments and patient progress.

Responsibilities include administering treatment programs, assessing patient condition, setting goals, instructing patients on interventions, and supporting high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid PTA license in state of practice.
• Current CPR and first aid certification.
• 3+ years of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer treatment programs as established by Physical Therapists.
• Assess patient condition using knowledge of basic biological and medical science.
• Propose treatment goals and objectives.
• Implement patient treatment plans with guidance from the Physical Therapist.
• Perform certain aspects of patient evaluation and interventions.
• Instruct patients on physical therapy interventions, modalities and home exercise programs.
