Job summary

Foothills Transitional Care and Rehabilitation in Maryville, TN, seeks a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join our in-house therapy team. You will provide skilled treatment, participate in wound care, and help develop patient-centered care plans.

Qualifications

• PTA license required.
• Open to PTAs at all experience levels. New Grads welcome!

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, and develop appropriate care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients.
• Regular standing and walking throughout the facility; occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment.
• Administer procedures as part of the rehab plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and wound care.
• Provide consultation to patients, families, caregivers, and other providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate discharge summaries of services provided in compliance with regulations.
