Medical Facilities Of America, Inc. in Adelphi, MD, is seeking PRN Physical Therapists to join Adelphi Nursing & Rehab Center.

You will provide direct patient care, assess medical conditions, and develop rehabilitation plans in collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary staff. The ideal candidate holds a valid PT license and registration, with preferred experience in long-term/geriatric care, supporting a compassionate team dedicated to resident well-being and ongoing professional

Qualifications

• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation.
• Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient’s capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician.
• Document and record the patients’ condition and educate patients and families in an appropriate physical therapy method.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient centered treatment and care.
