Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a PRN Physician to provide primary care to employees and their dependents aged 2 and older at our Health Centers in Northern Kentucky. Schedule is as needed, Monday through Friday, with a flexible, as-required work pattern.

The role requires a medical degree, full state licenses, a current board certification, DEA license, and CPR certification. Priors in primary/urgent care or ER settings are preferred; experience with EMR systems is common in our clinics.

Qualifications

• All state licenses to practice
• Federal DEA license
• State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license where required
• Current board certificate (ABMS, AMA or AOA)
• Medical Degree
• CPR certification meeting AHA standards
• At least three years of post-residency clinical experience
• Experience in a primary care, urgent care or emergency room setting

Responsibilities

• Provide episodic, preventive, and acute health care to patients
• May provide occupational health services in some centers
• Develop treatment plans in collaboration with patients
• Refer to appropriate medical resources as needed
• Evaluate effectiveness of care and monitor progress
• Maintain medical records (EMR in some centers)
• May participate in health program development
• Provide overall care in the clinic in the absence of Medical Leader
