Proactive MD is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for flexible PRN weekday coverage in Jeffersonville, IN; Madison, IN; and Louisville, KY. You will deliver comprehensive primary care in workplace health centers, prioritizing patient-centered care over productivity metrics.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or equivalent.
• Current, unrestricted RN and Nurse Practitioner licensure.
• Prescriptive authority in accordance with state/federal rules.
• 2+ years in family practice or primary care preferred.
• BLS certification current.
• HIPAA/OSHA knowledge and clinical quality awareness.
• Experience with EMR systems; Athena preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to an engaged patient population.
• Evaluate and treat acute, episodic, and chronic health conditions.
• Perform physical examinations and health-risk assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with patients.
• Provide preventive care, health education, and wellness counseling.
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing.
• Prescribe medications within licensure and regulations.
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up care.
• Document encounters in EMR (Athena).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care team.
