Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a PRN Nurse Practitioner to provide care to client employees and dependents at Health Centers in Covington, Fort Wright, and Florence, KY. Scheduling is PRN as needed, day shifts, with the potential for multiple shifts monthly.

New grads welcome; Epic experience preferred. The ideal candidate will hold an active NP license, national certification, and DEA license where applicable, with at least three years in ambulatory or related settings.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of clinical NP experience in ambulatory, occupational health, family practice or emergency dept.
• Active NP licensure in practicing state(s) and current national certification.
• BLS required; ACLS may be required depending on contract scope.

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines.
• Performs injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Develops care plans, documents progress, ensures continuity of care.
• Educates patients on treatment plans and health maintenance.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess conditions.
• Collaborates with physicians and health care teams for comprehensive care.
• Prescribes or recommends treatments and therapies.
• Refers patients to specialists as needed.
• Maintains patient health records with up-to-date documentation.
• Educates and coaches nursing staff on best practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
