HCA Healthcare, Inc. Reston Surgery Center is seeking a PRN Preop PACU Registered Nurse to join our ambulatory setting. You will provide postoperative nursing care, monitor vital signs, manage IV access, and discharge planning to ensure safe and compassionate patient experiences.

Qualifications include RN license, Associate Degree in Nursing or higher, and BCLS; ACLS and PALS within 30 days as required by facility. The role offers competitive hourly wages and comprehensive benefits through HCA.

Qualifications

• RN license required
• BCLS certification required on hire (online not acceptable)
• ACLS required within 30 days of hire
• PALS if required by facility within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient care area with necessary equipment
• Demonstrate airway management techniques
• Monitor vital signs, temperature, cardiac status per policy
• Insert, maintain, and remove IV catheters and saline locks
• Perform head-to-toe evaluation using approved scoring system
• Check dressings and report abnormalities to surgeon
• Provide safe and comforting environment for patients and families
• Assist with discharge criteria and planning
