HCA Healthcare is seeking a PreOp PACU Registered Nurse for our ambulatory surgery center in Plantation, FL. You will provide safe postoperative nursing care until discharge, contributing to our mission of caring like family.

The role requires 1+ year nursing experience, an active RN license, and certifications in BCLS, ACLS, and possibly PALS, with duties spanning airway management, IV care, and post-op assessment. Join a team committed to patient-centered care.

Qualifikationen

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required.
• 1+ year nursing experience in a clinical setting.
• Active RN license in the state of employment.
• BCLS certification required; online certification not acceptable.
• ACLS required within 30 days of hire.
• PALS if required by facility within 30 days of hire.

Aufgaben

• Prepare patient care area with necessary equipment and supplies.
• Demonstrate airway management techniques.
• Monitor patients per policy (vital signs, temperature, cardiac, etc.).
• Insert, maintain, and remove IV catheters and saline locks.
• Perform head-to-toe evaluation using approved scoring system.
• Check dressings and report abnormalities to the surgeon.
• Provide a safe and comforting environment for patients and families.
