Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for surgery with assessment of needs and vital signs.
• Monitor post-anesthesia recovery and record vitals and consciousness.
• Administer pain meds and post-op treatments as needed.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers and discharges with the care team.
• Educate patients and families on pre/post-operative care.
