Job summary

• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).
• At least 2 years of experience in pre-operative or post-anesthesia care.
• Current RN license in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for surgery and assess physical and emotional needs.
• Monitor post-anesthesia recovery and vital signs; manage pain as needed.
• Administer medications and wound care as appropriate.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers and discharges with the care team.
• Educate patients and families about perioperative care and recovery.
