Job summary

CHRISTUS Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Longview, TX is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team on a PRN/part-time basis. You will work under a licensed Physical Therapist to help restore function and mobility for rehabilitation patients in a dedicated unit.

This role requires an associate degree in PTA, an active PTA license in Texas, CPR certification, and preferably rehab or acute-care experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from PTA program required.
• Current PTA license in state of practice (Texas).
• CPR certification required.
• Rehab or acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide PTA treatments under supervision of licensed PT.
• Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines.
• Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
