Job summary

Central Texas Rehabilitation Hospital in Austin, TX is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for PRN coverage to support our inpatient rehab services. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help restore function and mobility for patients recovering from serious injuries.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from a PTA program.
• Rehab or acute care experience preferred.
• Current PTA license in state of practice.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administer physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT.
• Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines.
• Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
