Job summary

PACS in Santa Rosa, CA is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to assist the Staff Physical Therapist with resident-related activities and direct resident care. The position is PRN with starting pay $58-$61 per hour and a $2000 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities include documenting accurately, maintaining safety, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and educating residents and families on home exercise programs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Proficient in electronic medical records and documentation.
• Ability to follow treatment plans and report progress.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment.
• Communicate progress to physicians, nursing staff, and families.
• Educate residents and families on home exercise programs.
