Job summary

Physical Rehabilitation Network (PRN) is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant for our Santa Rosa clinic. You will work closely with physical therapists to deliver high-quality care, supervise therapeutic exercises, and support patient recovery and rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• State licensure or certification as a PTA
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with patients and healthcare professionals
• Proficient in assisting with therapeutic exercises and treatment modalities
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Detail-oriented with good documentation and reporting skills
• Prior PTA experience in a clinical setting
• Familiarity with EMR systems

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by the Physical Therapist.
• Communicate with PTs on a regular basis regarding patient progress.
• Instruct and guide patients in therapeutic exercises and activities.
• Monitor and record patient progress and responses to treatments.
• Ensure caseload stability and attendance adherence.
• Aid in administering interventions like ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Set up and maintain therapy equipment and assist with evaluations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and notes in EMR.
• Educate patients and families about exercises, treatments, and home care routines.
• Collaborate with PTs and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
