Job summary

Santa Rosa Post Acute is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist Assistant (PRN) to support the Resident Care program in Santa Rosa, CA. The PTA assists the Physical Therapist with resident care, documents findings, and helps ensure safety and compliance in daily treatment sessions.

Starting pay is $58–$61 per hour with a $2,000 sign-on bonus paid in increments. The role requires CA PTA licensure, an associate degree, and strong teamwork to coordinate with nurses, therapists, residents, and families.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• CA PTA licensure and CPR certification as required.
• Proficient with Net Health and Point Click Care software.
• Ability to read and interpret procedures and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Staff Physical Therapist with resident-related activities and direct resident care.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation.
• Maintain infection control and safety protocols.
• Communicate with the supervising PT and interdisciplinary team.
• Educate residents and families on treatment goals and home programs.
• Assist with training Restorative Aides.
• Manage equipment and support safe resident handling.
• Contribute to quality assurance initiatives.
