Job summary

PACS is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist Assistant in Santa Rosa, CA. The role supports the Physical Therapist with resident care and requires an Associate Degree PTA with a state license. You will document accurately, follow safety and infection control protocols, and participate in care conferences.

Starting pay is $58–$61 per hour with a $2,000 sign-on bonus. You will educate residents and families on treatment goals and home exercise programs, while coordinating with the interdisciplinary

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Proficient in computer skills such as Net Health and PointClickCare.
• Ability to read technical procedures.
• Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions.
• Ability to solve practical problems.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation per facility and payer requirements.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment following infection control and safety protocols.
• Communicate progress, goals, and discharge plans to physicians and families.
• Educate residents and families on home exercise programs and fall prevention.
