Job summary

PACS Group in Ohio is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist Assistant to assist the Staff Physical Therapist with resident-related activities and direct resident care.

The role requires an Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program, state licensure, and proficiency with Net Health and Point Click Care. You will support documentation, infection control, patient education, and coordination with the care team to promote safety and mobility.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Proficient in Net Health and Point Click Care.
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state; maintain licensure and CEU requirements.
• CPR certification if required by licensure.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment with infection control and safety protocols.
• Communicate regularly with the supervising PT about progress and discharge planning.
• Educate residents and families on home exercise programs, safety techniques and fall prevention.
• Assist with documentation to meet facility, governmental and payer requirements.
• Assist training of Restorative Aides and share in-services as needed.
• Support quality assurance and rehabilitation program development as assigned.
