Avante at Ocala is seeking a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to support our Skilled Nursing and Rehab team. Under supervision of a Physical Therapist, you’ll assist in assessment, treatment planning and implementation, and document daily care.

Qualified candidates hold an Associate’s degree in physical therapy, PTA certification, Florida license or license eligible, and 0–3 years of long-term care experience. Join a collaborative, growth-minded environment.

• Successful completion of the National Certification for P.T.A.
• Current state licensure or license eligible.

Responsabilidades

• Document daily care per established guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Ability to carry out treatment plans as designed by supervising therapist.


• Ability to document daily care as per established guidelines.


• Ability to effectively communicate response to treatment intervention to residents, family, and other team members.

Education:

• Associate’s degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.


• Successful completion of the National Certification for P.T.A.


• Current state licensure or license eligible.


• 0-3 years of long-term care experience.

This position requires background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
