Responsibilities

• Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Delivers rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Documents patient progress and adjusts treatments with supervising PT.
• Provides counseling to patients and families about physical disorders.
• Assists in discharge planning and progress reporting per clinical requirements.

Experience/Qualifications:
Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant
This position is open to therapists at all experience levels.
Some duties for this position include:

• Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with physical functioning disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements under the supervision and direction of an Physical Therapist.
• Provides skilled therapy services to patients who need rehabilitation services.
• Assesses and document patient’s progress and communicates with supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatments accordingly.
• Provides consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers and other service providers related to physical disorders.
• Provides input to supervisor for discharge summary of services provided per regulatory and clinical requirements.
