Job summary

Continuum Rehab Group in Las Cruces, NM is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join our in-house rehab team. This full-time role offers $40 per hour with consistent hours and opportunities to contribute to patient recovery.

Under supervision of a Physical Therapist, you will provide rehabilitative and medically necessary treatments, document progress, and collaborate with families and care teams to support discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Open to therapists at all experience levels.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Assesses and documents patient progress and communicates with supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatments.
• Provides counseling to patients, families, caregivers and other service providers related to physical disorders.
• Contributes input to discharge summary of services provided per regulatory and clinical requirements.

Experience/Qualifications:

Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant

This position is open to therapists at all experience levels.

Some duties for this position include:

• Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with physical functioning disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements under the supervision and direction of an Physical Therapist.
• Provides skilled therapy services to patients who need rehabilitation services.
• Assesses and document patient’s progress and communicates with supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatments accordingly.
• Provides consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers and other service providers related to physical disorders.
• Provides input to supervisor for discharge summary of services provided per regulatory and clinical requirements.
