Position Details

CommuniCare Rehab, part of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, has a PRN opening for a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) at Columbus Healthcare Center. Our therapists are In-House Team Members. This role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact with residents through therapy. CommuniCare is a rapidly growing company with 170 centers across IN, MD, MO, OH, PA, VA, WV.

Qualifications

• A Physical Therapy Assistant Degree from an accredited program
• Valid or pending State Physical Therapy Assistant License

Job Responsibilities

• Verify client information by interviewing, reviewing medical history, and confirming treatment purpose
• Help clients improve quality of life by addressing limitations, assisting injured workers, and teaching independence to persons with learning disabilities
• Implement treatment plans through direct treatment, collaboration with Physical Therapists, and education of team members and families
