Emerald Nursing & Rehab Columbus is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our rehab team in Columbus, NE. This PRN (as-needed) position offers opportunities to deliver resident-centered therapy and collaborate with nurses, physicians, and aides to improve mobility and independence.

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
Current Physical Therapist license in good standing.
Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive evaluations and create personalized treatment plans.
Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall function.
Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans to maximize results.
Collaborate closely with nursing staff, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to provide holistic, high-quality care.
Educate residents and families on treatment strategies, recovery expectations, and wellness goals.
Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
