Job summary

Texas Health Resources seeks a PRN Physical Therapist to provide inpatient acute care services at Texas Health Alliance in North Fort Worth. You will perform age-appropriate assessments, develop plans of care, obtain physician orders, and coordinate with a care team to support patient goals.

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, Texas licensure upon hire, and BCLS certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy completed
• Texas Physical Therapy License upon hire required
• BCLS certification prior to independent patient care and maintained quarterly
• 1 year inpatient acute care experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs age-appropriate patient assessment and establishes plan of care
• Obtains/verifies physician orders for therapy and validates for appropriateness
• Ensures patient has given informed consent to treatment
• Integrates assessment results to identify functional problems and prioritizes care with patient/family
• Sets measurable goals with timeframes to address identified problems
