Texas Health Resources in Plano, TX, is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for inpatient rehab. This PRN/as-needed role requires a PT license, a bachelor’s degree, and strong communication to support exceptional patient care within a collaborative, engaged team.

Responsibilities include age-appropriate treatment, education for patients and families, and coordination with physicians, with a focus on safety and improved outcomes. Orientation and training are provided during first weeks of hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and PT program completion required on hire.
• Acute care experience is helpful.
• Texas Physical Therapy License required on hire.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) maintained quarterly.
• Strong communication, problem solving, and leadership basics.

Responsibilities

• Perform age-appropriate patient treatment.
• Apply therapy techniques appropriate for patient age and goals.
• Perform treatments within professional scope and delegate tasks safely.
• Evaluate patient response and reassess progress.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home programs.
• Maintain patient safety and coordinate with physicians.
• Motivate patients to participate in therapy.
