Ascension Providence in Waco, TX seeks a Physical Therapist for inpatient rehab on a PRN basis. The role involves evaluating and treating patients, performing initial and ongoing assessments, and developing care plans in collaboration with patients and families.

The therapist oversees PT aides and students, applying standard PT techniques to improve function and mobility. Required licensure: BLS within 1 month and Texas RPT credential within 6 months; Bachelor's degree required, Master's

Qualifications

• BLS Provider required within 1 month of hire date (AHA/ARC accepted).
• Rehab Therapist with RPT credential from the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners within 6 months of hire date.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.
• Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patient’s condition.
• Establish, revise and evaluate a plan of care involving the patient/family.
• Perform therapy interventions using standard physical therapy techniques as appropriate.
• Oversee activities of physical therapy assistants, students and other support personnel.
