Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of current practice or qualified for traineeship or temporary license in the state of practice.
• BLS Basic Life Support certification (required at hire for some sites; within 30 days for others)

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients and develops an appropriate treatment plan with specific goals.
• Provides direct therapy daily according to plan of care and standards of practice.
• Maintains accurate treatment records and progress in the EMR with timely co-signatures as needed.
• Maintains productivity without compromising quality of care.
• Adheres to safety, infection control, time-off policies, and charting requirements.
• Supervises physical therapist assistants where applicable.
