The ideal candidate holds an accredited PTA program credential, with at least one year of geriatric rehab experience, and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• One year experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant (geriatric rehabilitation preferred).
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the facility's state.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional Physical Therapy services.
• Completes documentation accurately and timely.
• Participates in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement initiatives.
• Works efficiently and effectively while utilizing facility resources responsibly.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation Services and setting-specific clinical and regulatory practices.
• Complies with facility policies and procedures.
• Supervises Physical Therapist Assistants, therapy aides, and therapy students as needed.
