Fort Dodge Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join our in-house rehab program in Fort Dodge, IA. You will provide rehabilitative care to geriatric patients under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and contribute to a compassionate care team.

The role emphasizes evidence-based interventions, collaboration with supervising staff, and ongoing patient/family counseling within a post-acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapist Assistant license is required.
• New grads are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Apply evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative treatment to patients under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, and assistive devices under supervision.
• Collaborate with the supervising PT to adjust treatments per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Offer consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers and other providers regarding physical disorders.
