Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation in Illinois is seeking a qualified physical therapy assistant to join our dynamic team. Working under the guidance of a physical therapist, you will help treat patients by following individualized plans of care and contributing to strong functional outcomes.

You will assist with treatment programs, document patient responses, discuss progress with the PT and rehab staff, and operate standard therapy equipment to support patient recovery in a collaborative clinical setting.

Qualifications

• PTA license or eligibility in the US.
• Experience in rehabilitative therapy preferred.
• Ability to follow a plan of care under supervision.

In this role, you’ll assist treating patients by following an individualized plan of care developed by Physical Therapists.

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of physical therapist, develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Physical Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.
