What you will do in this role:

1. Provide quality, compassionate care within a team in a secure setting.
2. Assist the Physical Therapist by implementing patient Care Plans for rehabilitation, helping mentally and physically impaired patients participate in tasks to restore, reinforce, and improve their performance.
3. Communicate patient progress or issues to supervisors and team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges to patient records daily.
4. Document patient care in compliance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting standards.
5. Instruct patients’ families or nursing staff on follow-up programs.
6. Maintain equipment and work area in a safe, clean condition.
7. Adhere to the Company's Code of Business Conduct, Corporate Compliance, professional standards, and applicable laws.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program culminating in an Associate Degree.
2. Current state licensure as a PTA or equivalent in the states where services are provided.
3. CPR certification as required.
