What you will do in this role:

1. Provide quality, compassionate care in a team setting within a secure environment.
2. Under supervision of the Physical Therapist, implement the patient's Care Plan for rehabilitation, assisting patients with tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance their performance.
3. Communicate patient progress or issues to supervisors and team members; assist with patient scheduling and document charges daily.
4. Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting standards.
5. Instruct patients' families or nursing staff in follow-through programs.
6. Maintain equipment and work areas in a safe, clean condition.
7. Handle responsibilities in compliance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, professional standards, and applicable laws.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program resulting in an Associate Degree.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) or equivalent in states where services are provided.
• CPR certification, if required.
