Job summary

Continuum Rehab Group seeks a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in Texas. This role offers opportunities to provide skilled therapy under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and to contribute to patient recovery plans in a clinical setting.

• Open to therapists at all experience levels.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Provides skilled therapy to patients with physical functioning disorders under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Assesses and documents patient progress and communicates with supervising PT to adjust treatments.
• Provides consultation and counseling to patients and families and other service providers.
• Contributes to discharge planning and service documentation per clinical requirements.

Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant

This position is open to therapists at all experience levels.

Some duties for this position include:

• Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.


• Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with physical functioning disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements under the supervision and direction of an Physical Therapist.


• Provides skilled therapy services to patients who need rehabilitation services.


• Assesses and document patient’s progress and communicates with supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatments accordingly.


• Provides consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers and other service providers related to physical disorders.


• Provides input to supervisor for discharge summary of services provided per regulatory and clinical requirements.
