Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation in Elgin, IL seeks a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team. You will work under the guidance of a Physical Therapist to support patient care and follow individualized plans of care.

This role involves assisting patients through all phases of treatment, discussing progress with patients, documenting responses after visits, and maintaining open communication with the Physical Therapist, Rehab Director, and facility staff while using standard PT

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of physical therapist, develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Physical Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.
