Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking a qualified physical therapy assistant to join our dynamic team in Homewood, IL. Working under the guidance of a physical therapist, you will assist in treating patients and follow an individualized plan of care.

You will help develop and implement treatment programs, assist with all phases of therapy, document patient responses, and maintain ongoing communication with the PT, rehabilitation director, and facility staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of physical therapist, develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Physical Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.
