Job summary

OSR Physical Therapy has an immediate opportunity for a strong Physical Therapist to join our private practice in Norwood Young America, MN. You will assess patients, develop and initiate treatment plans, and provide direct patient care in a friendly, family-oriented clinic.

We welcome new grads and value an outgoing, energetic personality. Minnesota license and CPR certification are required; outpatient orthopedic experience is preferred. Competitive pay and benefits available.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • 1+ years of experience; new/recent grads welcomed.
  • Minnesota license and CPR certification required.
  • Outpatient orthopedic clinic experience preferred.
  • Outgoing and energetic personality.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on the evaluation results
  • Review the physician's referral (prescription) and the patient's condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment required
  • Provide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines
  • Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers
  • Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians
  • Complete a written plan of care, develop goals based on evaluation findings, and develop a comprehensive program to attain goals
  • Implement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential physical therapy treatments
  • Communicate effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies
  • Ensure timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly workers' compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports

Additional Information

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $32.00-$38.00. Pay is based on various factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. The Company's incentive compensation plan is subject to change. Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and other benefits are also available, subject to the terms of the Company's plan.
