Job summary

Kendal at Lexington in Lexington, VA, invites you to join our therapy team as a PRN Physical Therapist. We are a nonprofit Life Plan Community with a wellness focus, offering a collaborative, mission-driven environment and opportunities to work with an interdisciplinary team.

The Physical Therapist will screen, evaluate, re-evaluate, discharge plans, and revise plans of care under physician supervision, applying evidence-based programs and fostering resident engagement and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
• Active state license in good standing.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to supervise Physical Therapy Assistants.

Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, re-evaluate, discharge plan and revisions under physician supervision.
• Assist in implementing and adjusting the established plan of care.
• Collaborate with the therapy team to ensure quality patient care.
