Job summary

Marymount Hospital in Garfield Heights seeks a Phlebotomist Technician, PRN, CCSR to join the Lab Phlebotomy team. You will perform venipuncture, verify orders, label specimens, and deliver samples to the processing area while helping put patients at ease.

This PRN position works every other weekend (Sat-Sun) with 3-4 shifts. You will float to multiple locations and gain access to Cleveland Clinic’s education resources, online courses, trainings, and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Technical proficiency with standard procedures, techniques and common practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collection procedures and venipuncture.
• Verify order requests and identifying information prior to drawing blood.
• Label specimens and deliver them to the processing area.
• Perform specimen processing and related tasks (accessioning, centrifugation, packaging).
• Float to multiple locations and transport blood and lab supplies.
