Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and hospital staff.
• Good working knowledge of medical terminology and computers.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Experience in phlebotomy in a hospital setting preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Collect blood samples and correctly identify patients; transport specimens and perform related clerical and computer functions.
• Register, order, proper collection, labeling, processing, and distribution of specimens for laboratory testing; perform data entry and liaise with the laboratory.
