Qualifications

• Experience: Prior experience as a Phlebotomist preferred.
• Licensure: Certified as a Phlebotomist from a nationally recognized institute preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive orders for laboratory testing from the hospital computer system.
• Collect blood from patients of any age or status.
• Log specimens into the laboratory computer system.
• Follow state, OSHA and other agency regulations.
• Perform special procedures and assist the lab aide when necessary.
