Job summary

Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga is seeking a Phlebotomist PRN to support our on-site laboratory operations. You will perform blood collection procedures, process specimens, answer calls, and help with inventory and supply receipts, working under the Laboratory Assistant when coordinating collections.

Education: High School or GED required, formal phlebotomy training preferred. Experience: One year in a hospital setting preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; formal phlebotomy training preferred.
• One year hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collection procedures within area of competency.
• Receive and process laboratory specimens and answer department phone.
• Manage inventory and receive supplies.
• Coordinate collections among phlebotomists and prepare samples for testing as Laboratory Assistant.
