Qualifications

• Education: High School or GED required; formal phlebotomy training preferred.
• Experience: One-year hospital preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: None

Responsabilités

• The Phlebotomist is responsible for performing blood collection procedures within areas of competency. Receives and processes laboratory specimens, answers department phone, inventory and receives supplies.
• When acting as the Laboratory Assistant, coordinates collections among Phlebotomists and prepares and processes samples for testing and reference lab testing.
