Job summary

College Medical Center Phoenix is seeking a skilled phlebotomist to join our team. The Phlebotomist will be responsible for drawing blood samples from patients, performing laboratory procedures, and providing excellent patient service.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of laboratory techniques, medical terminology, and clinical laboratory procedures. The role requires current CPR/BLS, phlebotomy experience, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Current CPR/BLS for Healthcare Providers card upon hire.
• One year of phlebotomy experience in an acute care hospital is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and computer skills is preferred.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to abide by CMC and department policies and procedures.
• Reliable attendance to support the required quality and quantity of work.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with coworkers, clients, members, providers, and customers.
• Knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan.

Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for CMC Phoenix roles, including but not limited to shift differential and other special pay practices. The posted compensation for the position is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay that CMC Phoenix in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
